VitaLibre is a community pharmacy–led initiative that delivers personalised nutrition through pharmacist oversight and AI-supported assessment. Developed in response to safety concerns surrounding excessive and unregulated supplement use—particularly that over 80% of sampled supplements fall outside pharmacy regulatory oversight—VitaLibre integrates pharmacist expertise with AI technology. Using guided self-assessments and optional DNA saliva testing, the platform matches individual needs with safe, evidence-based nutrition delivered through community pharmacy care.

VitaLibre aims to reposition community pharmacies as trusted hubs for personalised, preventative healthcare.

By empowering pharmacists with AI-driven tools, we improve access to safe nutrition guidance, reduce health inequities, and promote responsible supplement use. Our work supports SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-being), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Communities) by strengthening local healthcare services and enabling inclusive, community-based wellness solutions.
